1. Remove attachment strip from liner and attach securely to the patient.
2. Remove the liner from the top of the foam strip.
3. Attach measurement calibration marker (MCM) or device to the center of the
4. foam ring.
5. Discard the strip once removed from the patient and the MCM or device has been removed from the strip.

Alternative Method:  Attach the MCM to the foam ring BEFORE attaching the unit to the patient.  This may be more suitable for the elderly and over areas of trauma (fractures, etc) on patients

Note: Although not designed for other objects, the pad can be used to attach disks as well.

Adhesive Strip Removal Directions

1)      Remove the Adhesive Strip (with marker attached) from patient using the pick-up tab.

2)      Remove the Measurement Calibration Marker from the foam strip.

3)      Discard the used Adhesive Strip.

4)      If you choose to reuse the marker, remove any foam remnants on ball. Use rubbing alcohol on a lint free wipe, if necessary.
